"Horo-Hoax"

Upon gathering information about Sandra Cisneros for a report I am doing for my English class I found an online biography, it shared many facts you wouldn't ordinarily find in a bio. Things such as favorite brand of nail polish and what kind of shampoo and conditioner she uses. One fact listed was that she is a Sagittarius. This simple fact brought countless questions to my mind. I found myself wondering why we care about such things. My thoughts were consumed by ridiculous wonders about my own Zodiac Sign and those of others. How accurate are these horoscopes based on the Zodiac signs of each individual?
I decided to conduct my own test using the scientific process. First i formed my hypotheses. "Horoscopes based on Zodiac signs are highly accurate." Now to test my hypotheses by developing a way to measure my success and failures. I decided i would ask others i have been socially involved with what their Zodiac signs are, that way i could use the information i know about that persons recent behavior and their over all personality. Many of my peers agreed to be a part of my test, three of subjects I chose are students in my school that are very convinced that their horoscopes are correct.
Their behavior was synchronised with the prediction of their horoscope from the previous month. Other subjects that do not believe in such things had the same horoscope. Their actions and behavior had no correlation with their horoscope. Therefore i was able to adjust my hypotheses to fit the test results. "Those who believe that their lives follow the prediction of a horoscope tend to arrange their plans, behavior, and mood to fit the prediction. Others, not following the fad of horoscopes; have no correlation between the prediction and behavior." I believe (after this study) that Horoscopes would be better off named "horo-hoax."
